Anthony Davis is back with the Lakers after sitting out with a left eye ailment

After sitting out a game due to a left eye contusion, Anthony Davis returned to the court on Friday night to start for the Lakers against the Grizzlies.

After suffering a knock to the face in Sunday’s game against Minnesota, Davis exited the game in the first half. He did not return for Tuesday’s game against Golden State. Davis is the Lakers’ second-highest scorer with 24.5 points per game and leading rebounder with 12.6. Following a 9–10 victory streak, the Lakers dropped both games.
