Patrick Mahomes, a standout player for the Kansas City Chiefs, served as a guardian figure to his baby daughter Sterling on Monday by shielding her from the solar eclipse.

During the Great American Eclipse, which occurred on Monday, the moon blocked the sun for more than 180 million people. The quarterback, along with millions of other Americans, wore glasses of varying colors to observe the phenomena.

The video was released by his wife Brittany, who showed Mahomes and their daughter Sterling, who is three years old, looking up at the sky while wearing their safety glasses in order to observe the eclipse.

On the other hand, the child seemed to be unduly enthusiastic with the cosmic display, and it seemed as though they were unaware of how important the eyewear was.

Sterling could be seen in another post on Brittany’s Instagram story tottering around their patio before stopping to peek up at the sun once more without the cover of the glasses. Brittany’s tale was posted on Instagram.

While the small girl attempted to look directly at the sun, the quarterback for the Chiefs protected her from the sun.

The moment Mahomes saw his toddler, he immediately went into his fatherly mode and rushed up to her. He covered her eyes in order to shield them from the intense light.

After some time had passed, he posted a photograph of Sterling, who appeared to be completely captivated as she took in the experience. This time, his mother Brittany checked to make sure that she was wearing her spectacles in the background.

He initially tagged the photo on X with the word “Mood,” but he subsequently added, “That was crazy because I’m not going to lie.”

Aaron Rodgers was seen wearing sunglasses in an image that was uploaded on X by the New York Jets. ‘Eclipse ready’ was the caption that accompanied the image.
