For more than twenty years, James has been the most dominant player in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He has won everything from league MVPs during the regular season to Finals MVPs, championships, All-Star games, and he has also become the all-time leading scorer and playoff scorer in the league. Today, he continues to do so as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, who are getting ready for what they hope will be a lengthy run in the 2018 postseason of the National Basketball Association.

In a recent episode of his own show, “The Shop,” James discussed the one prize that he does not possess and that he finds the most frustrating.James said, “Defensive player of the year,” when asked what he hasn’t done yet that he would have loved to do, according to The Shop on X, the social networking site that was once known as Twitter. James’s response was given in response to the question. There is just one trophy that I do not have in my house, and that is that one. There is a slight sense of pain. I’ve already talked about this in the past. Honestly, it doesn’t make any sense at all. In this way, it is comparable to what Jay-Z just stated about Beyoncé. Her albums have never been recognized as Album of the Year, despite the fact that she has won the most Grammys. James is referring to the 2012–2013 season, which is widely considered to be the best individual season in the history of the National Basketball Association (NBA). It is ironic that James and Gasol would team up eight years after the Lakers’ season of 2020–21, which ended with the Lakers being eliminated from the NBA playoffs by the Phoenix Suns in the first round of the playoffs.
