To be honest, winter fashion may be dull. This time of year is all about layering, so I usually cover up most of my outfits with long puffers. Under my coat that reaches my floor, pajamas?

I’ll never reveal it, so keep it to myself. But Blake Lively just made me realize that wearing stylish clothing in the winter can still be enjoyable.

Play around with textures and designs to create an ensemble that is trendy and cozy, or at the very least, cozy.

The actress was seen enjoying a breezy day in New York City in style with her spouse, Ryan Reynolds, in photos. Reynolds was dressed as usual in black button-down, puffer coat, blue khakis, and gloves and a face mask.Lively also donned what she usually wears, which is the classic Max Mara teddy coat that she has been sporting for years (and that I will keep seeing myself wearing until it happens). She completed her ensemble with light blue jeans from DL1961, my all-time favorite denim company. She even donned my favorite item from the label, my high-rise, vintage-inspired pair of Emilie straight leg jeans, which I wear all the time since they’re so comfortable and stylish. Other designs from the Emilie collection are currently discounted, with the exception of Lively’s pair, which costs $199.

With a dash of industrial flair, Lively’s ensemble is completed with Rag & Bone Sloane Boots. As everyone knows, Jennifer Aniston adores Rag & Bone and its denim. However, celebrities have been trying out the brand’s shoe selection lately. Jennifer Garner, for example, wore useful Rag & Bone boots a few weeks ago, and Lively is the latest.

Lively looks amazing in everything, including the coat, pants, shoes, and Maskc KN95 face mask. I’m going to be channeling this Blake moment the next time I go grocery shopping.
