Following their victory over Barcelona by a score of 3-2 at the Bernabeu, Real Madrid made significant progress toward securing the La Liga championship.
The team coached by Carlo Ancelotti fell behind after only six minutes of play due to a header by Andreas Christensen. However, Vinicius Jr. scored a penalty kick twelve minutes later to tie the game.
Fermin Lopez’s rebound on the 69th minute gave the away team the opportunity to regain the lead, but once again, it did not last for very long because Lucas Vazquez scored four minutes later.
Like he did in the previous match, Jude Bellingham scored the game-winning goal in the final minute of injury time, propelling Real to a commanding 11-point lead at the top of the standings.
