At home, James is patiently waiting for his son Bronny’s decision. Bronny played collegiate basketball at USC last year, but he has since declared for the NFL Draft and used the transfer portal, so his future plans are still uncertain.

ADColorado football coach and NFL icon Deion Sanders can relate to the pressures of having a famous son in the sports industry; Sanders’ son, Shedeur, plays quarterback for the Buffaloes and is widely considered to be among the top quarterbacks in the nation.

Sanders recently explained why he understands Bronny James’s predicament and feels sorry for him.

“Bronny James is a man I like. When they played here, I went to see the game. Because it’s a lot for a short guy and I can sense the strain (thanks to my sons, dude), I felt terrible for him. They can’t wait to meet their father as soon as he goes outside. Bronny isn’t being looked for. Bronny will be accompanying them on their quest to see the papa. Even if he takes more time than his father did to get there, he will eventually. In reference to his children—and I know you’ve done the same—Sanders stated, “You don’t have to be me man, but I need you to be the best you” on the YouTube podcast All The Smoke.Regardless, the Lakers will be back at it on Wednesday night when they host the Nuggets in Game 3 of their series at the welcoming Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

ADDespite the Lakers’ raucous fan base, the Nuggets have also won their fair share of games at that venue. The Lakers’ success versus Denver will hinge on their execution. In both games, Los Angeles got out to good starts before fading in the last minutes, maybe because of the high altitude they had to contend with in Denver.

Nikola Jokic, the finest player in the NBA, has been a constant aggressor for the Lakers over the past few years, so limiting his play will be their first priority. At 10:00 PM ET, Game 3 is scheduled to begin.
