‘This is about as legendary as it gets,’ fans exclaim as Chelsea luminaries reconnect on the golf course

As they stepped onto the fairways, Carlo Cudicini, Gianfranco Zola, John Terry, and Roberto Di Matteo replaced their football footwear with a set of clubs.

The Italian duo of Di Matteo and Zola were defeated when Terry teamed up with his old teammate Cudicini.

Plus, the quartet from the Blues snapped a snapshot after the game, which the illustrious captain JT later posted online.

During the late ’90s and early ’00s, all four of these Chelsea greats were teammates.

At that point, Cudicini and Terry began to climb to prominence, while Di Matteo and Zola began to fall from grace.

In 2012, with JT at the helm, Di Matteo returned to Stamford Bridge as manager and led the West Londoners to their first Champions League triumph.
