A 1966 Mustang with a Honda K24 turbocharged engine

When Jarred Willey was sixteen years old, his great-grandmother gave him her 1966 Mustang, which he loved to drive for many years with its 289 cubic inch Windsor V8 engine. He was passionate about Honda cars and engines, though. He consequently blended his two passions into one singular product last year when he fitted the Mustang with a Turbo Honda K24 engine.

Jarred replaced the 289 ci V8 engine with a 2.4 L K24 inline-four turbocharged engine, installed on custom S2000 mounts. With additions to the stock JDM K24A block and head, the engine is equipped with a GTX3485RS ball bearing turbocharger, a K20 oil pump, a KPower intake manifold, and a 44 mm wastegate.

The engine is kept at a constant temperature by an S2000 radiator and hoses, while an intercooler uses 2.5-inch pipe to cool the air. With Bosch 2200 cc E85 injectors and a Deatchwerks DW400 E85 fuel pump, the engine operates on E85 fuel. Every part is controlled by a Hondata KPro V4 ECU.
