After parting ways with Larsa Pippen, Marcus Jordan is now spending more time with his father, Michael Jordan.

The 33-year-old posted pictures of himself and Michael, 60, and their family watching the Super Bowl on Instagram over the weekend.

The tweet was made in the midst of reports that Marcus and Pippen were divorcing, which first appeared on Sunday after the 49-year-old Real Housewives of Miami star deleted his Instagram photographs and unfollowed Marcus. PEOPLE later received confirmation of the couple’s split.

Marcus wrote, “Watching the game w/ pops & the fam🏈,” as the caption for the first picture, which featured the Super Bowl on TV. He included a poll asking which team—the San Francisco 49ers or the Kansas City Chiefs—would win the Lombardi trophy next to the photo.

The next thing Marcus and his father were seen doing was smiling while taking a group selfie in the space.

“MJ 2✨,” he captioned another photo, perhaps alluding to the circulating rumors at the time of his breakup with Pippen. He continued, “I search one name, and end up seein’ 20 tings.”

A source confirmed Marcus and Pippen’s breakup to PEOPLE on Monday.

According to a source, “they have decided to take some time apart to reevaluate their relationship.” “This is only for their personal growth and has nothing to do with input from the family.” The information was released when Pippen posted a video of Morgan Freeman talking about listening to your “inner voice” on her Instagram Story, coupled with a hidden poll asking her followers, “Should your friends unfollow your ex?”

When PEOPLE reached out to Pippen and Marcus for comment at the time, their representatives did not immediately respond.

The couple’s breakup occurs months after father Michael expressed his thoughts on his son’s relationship with Pippen, the ex-wife of Scottie Pippen, his former colleague. After leaving dinner in Paris in July 2023, Michael was asked by paparazzi if he approved of the relationship. He answered, “No!”

In 2019, Larsa and Marcus met at a gathering in Los Angeles through mutual friends. The couple ignited relationship speculations in September 2022 when they were seen out to dinner together.

The Housewives actress previously disclosed to PEOPLE that she and Marcus bonded on their shared “great foundation as friends” and went on to date.

“I do feel like timing is everything and it started off just getting to know each other and then, here we are,” she said in February of 2012. “I personally just couldn’t be open and receptive to different guys. After experiencing all these strange things, all of a sudden Marcus appears out of nowhere. And I think he’s great in every way.”
