In honor of his birthday, Virgil van Dijk celebrated with his Manchester City and Manchester United opponents at a wild party in Ibiza.

On the party island, Calvin Harris performed for thousands of people, and the Liverpool star was there to witness it all.

 

Marcus Rashford, Kevin de Bruyne, and Nathan Ake—all players for Manchester United and Manchester City—were all there, which left some supporters bewildered.

There was speculation as to what Roy Keane, who is known to dislike cordial relations between opposing clubs, might have felt if he had seen the message.

Quickly going viral on social media were photographs of Calvin Harris doing the gig with the football superstars.

“Keep Roy Keane out of this!” was the response of one supporter.

 

“He abandoned his teammates and celebrated his birthday with his enemies,” another commenter said. VVD has earned my ire.

“Ake is Dutch, De Bruyne is good friends with Van Dijk, and Calvin H is a Liverpool fan,” a fourth poster explained. However, Rashford’s presence there seems uncertain to me.
