Crysencio Summerville has reportedly been linked with a summer transfer to Liverpool.

The forward for Leeds United is reportedly of interest to newly appointed Reds manager Arne Slot. Summerville joined Leeds in the summer of 2020 after rising through the ranks at Feyenoord, the club that Slot would depart to become manager at Anfield. The Whites’ push for re-promotion to the Premier League has relied heavily on the 22-year-old this season. Summerville has played in 45 games in all competitions, scoring 20 goals and assisting on 10 more. He was thus recognized as the Year’s Most Valuable Player in the Championship.

Italian writer Fabrizio Romano made the assertion that Liverpool dispatched scouts to witness the Holland under-21 international while speaking on the Here We Go Podcast. With two years left on his Elland Road deal, Leeds would surely do anything to hold on to Summerville. Former ADO Den Haag loanee has previously been praised by Whites boss Daniel Farke for his potential. In February, Farke told Sky Sports believed Summerville’s potential was limitless.

“He is having an exceptional season in terms of his performances, overall product, and his dedication to the team. He is there every day, even in training, and delivers when it counts most. Consistency is key in this league,” Farke said.
