After Monday’s elimination from the NBA playoffs at the hands of the Denver Nuggets, LeBron James took to his X account on Tuesday to reiterate his uncertainty about the future and to request silence in the face of the “many reports” circulating regarding his intentions.
Numerous predictions regarding my future have been made and heard. I will reiterate what I said last night. The only thing on LeBron’s mind right now is spending time with his loved ones, so he has no idea what to write.
“When I know, after talking to my family, my advisors, and my agent, you will know,” said the man.
Before he explains his decision, LeBron James asked for silence as he ended his speech.
For the 2024–2025 season, James, who is 39 years old, has the option to remain with the Lakers and earn $51.4 million.
When asked if it would be his final game with the purple and gold, LeBron smiled and responded, “I’m not going to respond to this, thank you,” at Monday’s press conference at Denver’s Ball Arena.
“I’m gоing tо be with my fаmily,” LeBrоn sаid аs he spоke аbоut his neаr-term оbjectives, befоre gоing оn tо sаy thаt he will cоncentrаte оn trаining fоr the Pаris Gаmes this summer.
