There are four children that Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are proud parents of, despite the fact that they normally keep their family life quiet.
In 2011, one year after they had first met on the set of the DC Comics film, the co-stars of “Green Lantern” begun dating each other.
They later issued an apology for the wedding, which took place on a plantation in South Carolina in September of 2012, after receiving criticism over the ceremony. Reynolds stated in an interview with Details the following year that he desired to have a “big family” with the former “Gossip Girl” cast member.

In the interview that took place in August of 2013, the actor stated, “A lot of people say it’s crazy, but we’ll only know when we’re there, you know?” I believe that we will be able to make it through that fire with a lot of joy.
During that time period, Lively, who had previously appeared in “Age of Adaline,” made a jest to Marie Claire about her desire to have a “litter of kids.”

James was the name of the newborn girl that Olivia Lively gave birth to in December of 2014.
James Reynolds, Reynolds’ late father, who passed away in October of the following year at the age of 74, was the source of inspiration for the name of the adorable little one.
During an interview on “Good Morning Britain” in the year 2020, the individual who was nominated for a Golden Globe quipped, “In the spectrum of weird celebrity baby names, I don’t really feel like we’re breaking new ground here.”
It was not me that referred to her as Summer Squash Meadowlark.
Throughout the years, James has made a few rare appearances in public, including attending the ceremony for her father’s Walk of Fame in 2018.

James became a big sister in 2016 when Lively and Ryan welcomed their second daughter, Inez.
Lively clarified during a 2018 interview with People that the infant’s moniker is “with a ‘z’ even though everyone says it with an ‘s.’”
She joked, “I don’t know why, please tell Wikipedia.”
While Lively and her husband normally keep their kids out of the limelight, Ryan did tell EW Radio Spotlight that same year that his “Deadpool” costume made Inez “sob.”
He said, “It’s torture because you can’t rip it off in the moment and be like, ‘No, no, no! See I’m under here,’ undo[ing] four hours of prosthetic makeup work.”
Betty Reynolds

When Betty joined Lively and Ryan’s family in October 2019, Inez was not pleased.
“My oldest is very into the baby. My middle child, not so much,” the “Simple Favor” star admitted to Jimmy Fallon in 2020. “Our middle daughter just keeps away from her.
“I said to her, ‘You’re going to teach her everything she knows. You get to teach her about cities and the sky and flowers and Santa Claus. Anything you want,’” Lively continued. “And she goes, ‘Oh, I didn’t love [her], but now I do.’”
While she and Ryan kept quiet about their third child’s name, their close pal Taylor Swift revealed it in her 2020 song “Betty.”
Reynolds confirmed the moniker in 2021, telling SiriusXM’s Jess Cagle what a “pretty damn amazing … honor” it was to have the Grammy winner use the names in a “very sensitive” way.
Swift gave the Reynolds girls a shout out during her “Eras Tour” stop in Philadelphia in May 2023.
“Hi James, hi Nezzy,” the crooner said to the youngsters who attended the show with thir mom.

In May 2022, Lively revealed her pregnancy by debuting her baby bump at Forbes Power Women’s Summit.
“Here are photos of me pregnant in real life so the 11 guys waiting outside my home for a
sighting will leave me alone,” she subsequently wrote via Instagram.
While Lively and Ryan did not formally announce their fourth baby’s arrival, Page Six exclusively confirmed the newborn’s birth in February 2023.

One month later, Ryan was photographed carrying an infant in a white onesie at a Wrexham versus York City soccer match.
He and his wife have yet to share their youngest’s child’s name or sex, but Ryan did say on“Power Lunch” that they “love” parenthood and are “doing fantastic” with their latest.
“If we haven’t figured it out by now, I think we’d be in deep trouble. But it’s a zoo over here.”
