After Jurgen Klopp went on a tirade about the channel’s games schedule, TNT Sports slyly retaliated.

The departing CEO announced on Friday that he will no longer be watching TNT Sports, and he even joked that he would turn down any future invitations to commentate from the network—which was formerly known as BT Sport—via the Express.
“I hаd а discussiоn with cоlleаgues frоm оur fаvоrite TV chаnnel, TNT, which I will definitely nоt wаtch аgаin,” Klоpp cоmplаined. “They аlwаys sаy they pаy yоu, they give mоney tо fооtbаll,” he remаrked. TNT put up a spoof job application for a punditry gig in order to parody the remarks. A list of qualifications for the position, which includes “multilingual,” “Champions League winner,” “Premier League winner,” and “willing to work 12.30pm on Saturdays,” is displayed on the image of Klopp seated at a computer.13.6% of Liverpool’s Premier League games since Klopp’s hiring in October 2015, according to the BBC, have started at 12.30 p.m. on Saturdays. This represents the highest proportion of any elite team in the intervening period.
This is true even though, over the most of Klopp’s tenure, Liverpool routinely advanced to the final stages of the Champions League, with midweek European matches. This season, Atalanta eliminated the Reds from the Europa League in the quarterfinals.
It seems that Liverpool’s pursuit of the Premier League title has ran out of steam. With a game remaining, Klopp’s team is four points behind Manchester City and five points behind Arsenal.
