It seems like Trent Alexander-Arnold is having a season to remember. In addition to adjusting to the new hybrid role that was established at the conclusion of the previous season and exerting more creative control over Liverpool’s most recent title challenge, he has also moved from Under Armour to Adidas, where he now plays alongside fellow Englishman Jude Bellingham as one of the faces of the Predator franchise. Trent and the Predator already thought they were a perfect match. The defender-turned-midfielder’s natural skill is amply complemented by the silo’s control and accuracy features.

What a way to start your Predator career—bombing the ball into the bottom corner from just inside the area to earn a point off a field that hasn’t allowed any other visitor to score a point. You are the newest player to sign with Adidas. In addition, it was performed in a unique boot made just for the player for the occasion, with red accents on a white background that precisely matched his club’s colors. Then there’s the returning tongue, which is making fans worldwide drool in anticipation of the introduction of the next generation.

We took advantage of his busy schedule to discuss his transfer to Adidas and his choice to play for the Predators because there is a lot to process.
