Staying in Florida is Lionel Messi’s decision. The Argentinean soccer star picked up a house in Fort Lauderdale, close to Miami, not long ago. Not long ago, Messi paid $10.75 million for the seaside property in Florida. The 36-year-old bought the two-story contemporary house in 1998, just before he joined Inter Miami’s squad in July of this year.

This private, gated community is home to the 10,500-square-foot mansion. This stunning mansion with eight bedrooms, nine bathrooms, two boat decks, and a powder room is ideal for the athlete, his wife, and their children; they relocated to South Florida this summer and have been looking for a permanent home ever since.

Close by are several eateries, nightlife venues, beaches, golf courses, coffee shops, and boutiques, and the soccer star’s home field, Drive Pink Stadium, is only a short distance away from the mansion in Miami. The anticipated annual property taxes for this Miami home are $83,400, while the monthly HOA costs are $500, according to Compass.com. Property prices in the Bay Colony range from $2 million to $20 million or even more.
