Cameron Brink is the godbrother of the Warriors’ standout guard. Stephen Curry would end up teaching her the ropes of the game after they both developed a passion for it as children. For the Curry family, she has been there through thick and thin, and vice versa.
When did these two sets of relatives get so close? As for Brink’s dad and Dell Curry, they were both on the same Virginia Tech team. Because of how close they were, they ended up living together. When they both began children, basketball became a significant way for them to show their kids how much they loved them. That mindset has been really beneficial to the rookie with the Sparks. She was the undisputed leader in every aspect of her career, from their championship run to her three years as Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year. My hope is that it will serve her well during her time in the WNBA.
