Two Manchester United players chosen to Argentina’s provisional roster for the Copa America, joining Lionel Messi
A preliminary roster of 29 players has been announced for the 2024 Copa America by Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni.

Next up for Argentina at this year’s Copa America is a June 20 match in Atlanta vs Canada. Group A also includes Chile and Peru.
This summer, Lionel Messi of Inter Miami will lead Argentina. Messi is one of just two players on the most recent roster who is not presently stationed in Europe.
Franco Armani, the goalie for River Plate, is the other one.
At the same time, ten of Argentina’s 29-man squad are now signed to Premier League clubs in England.

The other Spurs player on the team is Giovani Lo Celso, a midfielder. This season, he made 18 substitute appearances but only started four Premier League games.
Notable players who have been summoned include Emiliano Martinez of Aston Villa, Gonzalo Montiel of Nottingham Forest, Alexis Mac Allister of Liverpool, Enzo Fernandez of Chelsea, Julian Alvarez of Manchester City, and Valentin Barco, a teenager from Brighton.
