Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors defeats the Indiana Pacers in the East Finals, saying, “Someone Had to Get There.”

Golden State Warriors news: On Sunday, the Indiana Pacers achieved a historic victory for their team when they defeated the New York Knicks in Game 7 of their second-round series at Madison Square Garden. The Pacers have scheduled a meeting with the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals as a result of their historic victory.

Warriors player Draymond Green is one man who is still not impressed with what the Pacers have accomplished this season.

News from the Golden State Warriors: Draymond Green Responds to Pacers’ CriticismThe veteran Warriors player was asked on his podcast by a listener if he thought Indiana should accept his apology for calling them a regular-season squad. The former Defensive Player of the Year not only laughed at the idea of apologizing to the Pacers, but he also chose to even more viciously reiterate his earlier assertion:

“In my opinion, they are still an 82-game squad. Someone needed to get there because, in my opinion, the Knicks weren’t real,” stated Green.

Green’s explanation of why he thinks the Pacers are essentially a fluke even caught the Knicks off guard.

Green proceeded to advise the Pacers not to play the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals. Draymond is so certain that Jayson Tatum and company won’t face any difficulties defeating Indiana in their forthcoming seven-game series that they will play:

But things are becoming serious now. Boston is yours now,” he said. This animal is entirely different. Boston was mine. Not an issue. It ought to be a civilized sweep.
