An absolutely gorgeous Mustang convertible from 1965 is presented here. This particular convertible, which is dressed in Poppy red and with a light Palomino interior, is one of the early known examples of this classic vehicle. It was constructed in the Dearborn manufacturing facility of Ford, and after that, it was transported to the Los Angeles region in order to find its new owner. It is quite likely that it spent its early life traveling on highway 1. The Mustang underwent a refurbishment while it was in the United States two years ago, and it is in pristine condition throughout. Subsequently, the Mustang made its way to our shores, where it was purchased by its new owner. The individual who has taken pleasure in it with his assortment of other outstanding vehicles. We are fortunate enough to have this Mustang available for purchase at this time since, unfortunately, another amazing car has been purchased, and as a consequence, something had to be removed from the garage.
The vehicle was an original C code V8 with an automatic gearbox, and it was also constructed with the power electric convertible top, which is a must-have option (the top is also brand new). This Mustang is still in its original condition, despite the fact that it has been modified to include a carburetor that is slightly larger than its original size. There is nothing more satisfying than being able to press your finger on the switch and the electric roof smoothly folding down on days when the sun is shining.
New torque thrust wheels and BF Goodridge tyres have just been fitted. The interior has also been replaced during its restoration, a great deal of time and effort has been spent adding all new carpets, seat covers, door cards, dashboard, gauges, and all other chrome work.
The exterior bodywork is in top shape and all chrome has been replaced and as one can imagine the underside is solid throughout. This Mustang has had a great deal of expense to get it to this condition throughout. We have five ramps in our Mustang workshop, so a full inspection can be undertaken.
