Rare, Unforgettable Footage of a Humpback Whale Splashing Upside Down Near a Fishing Boat

The wonders of nature never get old for us humans. Something you have never dreamed of could happen to you. This is an opportunity that will not come around again. As an example, you might be on a shore excursion when you witness a huge humpback whale breaching the sea just beside your boat. You must be elated, like winning the lottery. Impressive, indeed!

Photographer Douglas Craft is not immune to this. The breathtaking moments on a whale-watching boat in Monterey Bay, California, were taken by him.

Near a fishing boat, a big humpback whale was seen jumping out of the water. The fisherman was directly behind it.

Impressive images of the massive marine animal were captured by Douglas via the window of his boat. Although he was momentarily taken aback by the scenario, he wasted no time in retrieving his camera and capturing the moment. Fortunately, he was able to enlarge and sharpen his image of the whale thanks to his filming angle. The fishing boat appeared little in contrast to the mоnstrоsity.

I slid down to a porthole near the waterline below deck to take pictures. He explained to a news outlet that this is the reason why staring up at the whale provides such an incredible perspective.

Images of the enormous breaching humpback whale that the photographers posted to his accounts quickly became viral. Everyone is “wowing” by the photos Douglas took. It’s truly remarkable!

Another person who helped Douglas was whale watcher Kate Cummings, who recorded the whale’s explosive exit from the ocean. I had a great time filming this video. Numerous breaches had already been executed by the whale, which was considerably further away from the fisherman. While whales breach several times, Kate told the media that occasionally the whales are also creating momentum for the next breach by traveling in a specified direction while underwater.
