Among the bargain names associated with a move to Anfield are Lloyd Kelly and Tosin Adarabioyo; however, it appears that they will be moving to Newcastle on free transfers instead. This is bad news for Richard Hughes, the sports director of Liverpool, who, when working as Technical Director at Dean Court, signed Kelly away from Bristol City to Bournemouth.

Another potential target was Sporting CP defender Goncalo Inacio, whose contract includes a €60 million buyout.

Yoro, another up-and-coming youngster, is 18 years old and has caught the eye of the Reds. The French U-21 international was named to the UNFP squad of the year, joining Bradley Locko—also said to be a transfer target for the Reds—after his outstanding play for Lille this season in Ligue 1.

Many of Europe’s best clubs have put Yoro at the top of their wishlists due to his technical gifts and remarkable recovery speed.

Joining Liverpool, Real Madrid, and PSG as a YoroL’Equipe reports that PSG have been in talks with Real Madrid since last winter in an effort to sign the player, but that no deal has been finalized as of yet.

The presence of Liverpool, who are hoping to sign Yoro this summer, complicates matters for the Parisians.

The defender’s contract doesn’t expire until 2025, so next summer he might be a free agent. Lille may have no choice but to cash in this year if no new contracts materialize.

Lille estimates that Yoro is worth €90–€100 million, but with just a year remaining on his contract, Paulo Fonseca’s team has little possibility of actually paying that amount.
