Goldfish come in an assortment of fascinating patterns of coloration, but they are all resilient domesticated carp varieties. The Carrot is an example of a hybrid that was created by crossing this fish with another species, such as koi.

The Carrot has gained more than 50 kg thanks to her carp-koi hybrid status and the 20 years she has had to travel.
