Lewandowski and Lopez scored together to help Barcelona defeat Sevilla 2-1 in the final match of the 2023/24 La Liga season. This is also a gift that the Catalan club gave coach Xavi on his farewell day.

This morning (May 27), Barcelona faced Sevilla in round 38 of La Liga this season at Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium. This match was only a formality, but the two teams played their best to please the fans.

Barcelona broke the deadlock thanks to Robert Lewandowski’s goal in the 15th minute. The Polish striker moved smartly to catch Cancelo’s shot and then made a close-range shot that the opponent’s goalkeeper could not block.

After receiving the goal, Sevilla tried to push the team higher to find a goal. Their efforts were rewarded with En-Nesyri’s goal when the first half entered the 31st minute. From Soumare’s slot, En-Nesyri escaped and shot diagonally, sending goalkeeper Ter Stegen into the net to pick up the ball.

In the second half, the game favored Barcelona. Coach Xavi and his team held the ball 66% in this half. Sevilla’s net shook for the second time after Fermin Lopez’s shot near the edge of the penalty area in the 59th minute. Goalkeeper Orjan Nyland collapsed but still had to go into the net to pick up the ball. This was also the goal that set the score at Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium.
