Despite the fact that the UEFA Euro 2024 is just a few weeks away, Spain manager Luis de la Fuente has published the preliminary squad list of players for the tournament. As many as five Barcelona stars have made the cut for the squad.

An announcement was made by De la Fuente on a list of 29 players that he is contemplating, and it is anticipated that the list would be reduced to 26 in the days to come.

In just a few short months after making his debut for the Spanish senior national team, the teenage wonderkid Pau Cubarsi has been selected for inclusion in the squad.

The only defender from Barcelona to make it onto the list is the 17-year-old, as Inigo Martinez and Marcos Alonso did not make the cut.

Pedri makes his comeback to the Spanish national team, while young Fermin Lopez, who has had a successful first season with Barcelona, is also selected for the pre-list. Both of these players are situated in the middle of the field.

From a higher position on the field, Ferran Torres and Lamine Yamal, who are both regulars for the Spain team, are also included in the group that will compete in the European Championships.

Because of their ailments, Gavi and Alejandro Balde have not been considered for selection, despite the fact that they would have been called up with the team.
