Manchester United scout offers Premier League defender a contract offer from Chelsea

Tosin Adarabioyo, a player for Fulham, is expected to become a free agent this summer and has been linked with a transfer to Manchester United. Reports indicate that Chelsea have extended a contract offer to the player.

Interested clubs have had time to assess Adarabioyo as a prospective target since he declared his decision not to renew with Fulham earlier this year.

The English center back has been linked to a number of clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester United, and Newcastle. Following Raphael Varane’s departure, it is reasonable to assume that United will seek to acquire a 26-year-old center defender with Premier League experience through the Bosman transfer window.

During his time at Man City’s academy, Adarabioyo resided in Manchester.

Sky Sports News reports that Fulham defender Adarabioyo is still in contract negotiations with both Chelsea and Newcastle.United may or may not be vying for Adarabioyo’s signing, but neither club has officially announced his future with the other.

Just two weeks remain until the transfer market opens for the 2024–25 season, although some clubs will be busy preparing for it with negotiations.

According to an iNews article from this morning, Chelsea are reportedly planning to move quickly this summer in regards to their pursuit of Adarabioyo.

What happens to Adarabioyo in the future is anybody’s guess.
