A brand-new Chevrolet Nova Concours coupe was purchased from Keddie Chevrolet in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania, in the spring of 1977. It was supposedly in the original owner’s family until the early 2020s, when it was renovated in 2023. This car, which has a 305ci V8 engine and a three-speed automatic transmission, has a metallic orange body and beige fabric upholstery overlaid over a partly vinyl roof.
A fold-down center armrest, power door locks, woodgrain interior highlights, power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, rally wheels, bench seating, a dual exhaust system, and a Delco AM/FM radio are just a few of its features. The car was purchased by the selling merchant in the beginning of 2024, and it is currently available in New York without a reservation. It comes with original manufacturer’s documentation and a clean Ohio title.
The Concours variant was integrated into the Nova lineup in 1976 and 1977 as the pinnacle trim level, succeeding the luxury-oriented Nova LN of 1975. Concours was available in two-door coupes and hatchbacks, as well as four-door sedans, with this particular coupe being one of 28,602 produced in 1977. The vehicle is said to have received a fresh coat of metallic orange paint during its recent refurbishment and features a landau-style beige vinyl roof. Specific to the Concours are the “Concours” and “Cabriolet” emblems, chrome wheel arch flares, a stand-up hood ornament, as well as a redesigned grille, hood molding, headlight bezels, and taillamps. The chrome bumpers are accented with black rubber inserts, and the car is also equipped with dual exhaust outlets, a remotely adjustable driver-side mirror, and a forced-air rear window defogger.
Rally 14″ steel wheels are fitted with 205/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. The braking system consists of power-assisted front disc brakes and rear drum brakes, standard on the Concours. Power steering further enhances maneuverability.
Inside, the Concours-specific cloth upholstery adorns the front and rear bench seats, complemented by woodgrain trim on the dashboard, steering wheel, and door panels. Interior conveniences include brown carpeting, a fold-down central front armrest, power door locks, a Delco AM/FM radio, a heater, and both carpeted and rubber floor mats.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames an 80-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and various warning lights. The five-digit odometer reads 53k miles, with approximately 100 miles added by the selling dealer.
The 305ci Turbo-Fire V8 engine delivers a factory-rated 145 horsepower and 245 lb-ft of torque, facilitated by a Rochester two-barrel carburetor.
Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a Positraction limited-slip differential. Additional underbody images are included in the gallery below.
Owner’s manuals, Chevrolet consumer information, warranty documents, and a service booklet from Keddie Chevrolet will accompany the vehicle.
