After the club’s last Premier League match of the season on May 19, the German manager stepped down as manager. However, he was back in town for ‘An Evening With Jurgen Klopp,’ an event held at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena.

After nine years on the sidelines, Klopp was visibly moved by the tribute from Reds fans who sung in his honor and said goodbye to the 56-year-old.An emotional montage commemorating Klopp’s time at Liverpool had just ended, and the video footage that was published on X showed him taking in the cacophony of the fans, visibly overwhelmed by emotion.

While the German brushed away his tears and took in the overwhelming response from his followers, a great deal of emotion washed over him. To show his appreciation, he got to his feet, placed his palm on his heart, and then did what he was famous for—pumping his fists—to celebrate major victories as manager of Liverpool.

In a private jet, Klopp and his wife Ulla returned to Liverpool the evening prior to the event.

Klopp addressed the devoted Liverpool fans at the arena on Tuesday that signing with the club in 2015 was the second-best choice he had ever made in his life as the game began.

‘Joining Liverpool was the best move of my life, other from marrying Ulla,’ Klopp addressed the throng.

Last week, the 56-year-old departed for Majorca with Ulla following his obligations with the team. They were scheduled to stay at a five-star hotel in the Balearic Islands as their new villa was being built.Meanwhile, Klopp said two weeks ago that his original intentions upon departing Liverpool were to take a vacation and attend the Champions League final to witness Borussia Dortmund, his previous team.

After nearly nine years as Liverpool manager, Klopp revealed in January that he would be leaving the club at the conclusion of the 2023–24 season.

Classical artist Alfie Boe opened the farewell event in the city’s arena with a performance of You’ll Never Walk Alone. The Lightning Seeds were also featured.Upon entering the platform, Klopp was greeted by a thunderous ovation from his devoted fans.
