On the morning of May 28, the striker for A Seleccao scored two goals against Al-Ittihad, bringing his total number of goals for the season to 35. This brought his overall number of goals scored for the season to 35.
The previous record for goals scored by Abderrazak Hamdallah was 34, and it was set during the 2018–19 season. This number surpasses that mark. The aforementioned accomplishment was accomplished by Hamdallah, who also played for Al Nassr, after a total of 27 matches, whereas Ronaldo needed to play 31 matches in order to reach his goal.
