Inter Miami has finally ended its unbeaten streak in MLS. After losing to Atlanta United at home, they are at the top of the Eastern rankings?
Inter Miami played one of the worst matches since the beginning of the season against Atlanta United. Despite the return of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Sergio Busquets, the pink shirt team still had an underwhelming performance when facing an opponent standing at the bottom of the table.
A spectacular double goal from Saba Lobjanidze and another strike from Jamal Thiare helped Atlanta sink Inter Miami 3-1 at home. Messi’s efforts only brought a consolation goal, causing Inter Miami to receive their first defeat after 10 consecutive unbeaten rounds.

Luckily for Inter Miami, FC Cincinnati also lost 0-2 to Nashville at home, meaning the Florida team’s top spot in the table remains unchanged. However, they have played 1 to 3 more matches than their opponents.
