Olmo began his professional career with Dinamo Zagreb after graduating from the famed La Masia academy in Barcelona.

After continuing to wow at Stadion Maksimir in the 1. HNL, the Spaniard signed a four-year contract with Leipzig.

Interested clubs have until mid-July to make a bid for Olmo, since the £51 million release clause in his new Leipzig contract, which he signed last summer and extends until 2027, is only believed to be operative until the conclusion of the European Championships.

Man City is a desirable destination for the attacker since they have the financial means to fulfill the pay expectations of the Spaniard.

Furthermore, Olmo might be tempted to accept the offer to play for Pep Guardiola’s squad since he is aiming to sign with a prominent European club that can win trophies both at home and abroad.The Premier League winners need to strengthen their attacking midfield options because players like Bernardo Silva could leave and Jack Grealish’s future is uncertain.

The addition of Olmo to City’s roster would be a huge boon due to his adaptability, ingenuity, and goal-scoring prowess.

Man Utd have been counting on Bruno Fernandes for goals and central area creativity, but Olmo might be a great long-term replacement for Christian Eriksen and help spread the load.

Many Red Devils players, like Anthony Martial and Raphael Varane, are poised to leave Old Trafford this summer, and Casemiro’s future with the club is uncertain.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe and company may also try to unload loanees Jadon Sancho, Mason Greenwood, and Donny van de Beek during the summer transfer window in order to generate the necessary capital to sign a player of Olmo’s caliber.

The main issue for United, though, is that none of those other bidders can provide the 26-year-old with Champions League football.
