The ANTA Kai Tribe lifestyle shoe is the moniker given to the kicks, which have previously debuted in China, ANTA’s primary market. There has been no official announcement regarding the sneakers’ US release date as of yet, however Complex has reported that they will be available in the fall.

There are now two hues that have surfaced online. The low-top lifestyle shoe is featured in both cases, but each colorway is different and has its own special characteristics.Featuring a minimalist all-black upper, white midsole and outersole, and the KI emblem of Kyrie Irving on the heel, this colorway is sure to turn heads. In the second color scheme, the midsole and outersole are cream colored, while the heel marker is purple and cream accents are used throughout the shoe.

Additionally, both hues come with metal tags that display a sequence of hieroglyphics and a distinctive stamp that reads KAI in what appears to be hieroglyphic script at the base of the tongue. After the two companies announced their partnership in 2023, Irving’s debut sneaker, the ANTA Kai 1, dropped in March of that year.

As part of the agreement, he was also appointed chief creative officer, a position that will enable him to collaborate with others on the ANTA product line. Irving made a statement regarding the collaboration at the time, and CBS Sports relayed it:

Appointing me as Chief Creative Officer of ANTA Basketball is more than simply a dream come true; it might be the ideal chance for me. I am an ambitious dreamer who places a premium on original thought; my life’s goal is to use my creative abilities to help bring people together in the spirit of teamwork and unity, whether on or off the court.In the time after, the pair dropped six more iterations of the ANTA Kai 1, all of which were instant hits with sneakerheads. The ‘Playoffs White’ colorway was also unveiled by Irving in April, just before the playoffs opened.

Now as the club is trying to extend its run to the NBA Finals, Kyrie Irving has maintained his impressive play and footwear. Irving wore ANTA Kai 1s—his trademark player edition—to honor his Native American roots as he began the WCF series against the Timberwolves.
