Renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano claims that Arda Guler is of interest to Napoli. One of the nation’s best promising prospects, the Turkish offensive midfielder joined Real Madrid from Fenerbahce last summer. But thus far, Guler hasn’t lived up to the hype. Due to meniscus damage and muscle problems, he missed the first part of the season and, even after getting back to full fitness, has had trouble breaking into the starting lineup.

 

 

This season, the 19-year-old has made just eight appearances in all competitions, scoring two goals and accumulating 166 minutes of first-team play. His circumstances are unlikely to change anytime soon, as Los Blanco’s spots are anticipated to become more competitive the next season. This summer, several teams, including AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, and Bayer Leverkusen, are keen to loan out the teenager. Napoli has just been added to the list.
