For Olympics! Bol Bol trains with Kevin Durant, Chet Holmgren

Like Durant, Bol and Holmgren are over 7 feet tall, have solid face-up games, and are above-average shooters relative to their height. Among players of his height, 6-foot-11 Durant is widely considered to be the best of all time.

Bol has been spotted training with Durant multiple times this offseason. Bol will be able to sign with any team he wants when the free agency period begins on June 30.Bol often referred to Durant as his “favorite player.” In 43 games, he played 10.9 minutes per game and averaged 3.2 rebounds and 5.2 points on 61.6% shooting (42.3% from 3). He collaborated with Durant on multiple occasions this season.

 

 

 

At the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, Bol and Durant will most certainly compete against each other. A 25-person roster for South Sudan’s Olympic training camp includes Bol, who was just named to it. Team USA will feature Durant and Devin Booker. Group C opponents South Sudan and Team USA will meet on July 31.

After averaging 16.5 points on 53/37/79 shooting, 7.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 2.4 blocks for the No. 1-seeded Thunder, Holmgren finished second in Rookie of the Year voting. The promising young player from Durant’s last squad served as a model for the recently released KD 17s.

In 75 games with the 49-33 Suns, the 35-year-old Durant averaged 27.1 points per game on 52.3/41.3/85.6 shooting splits, along with 6.6 rebounds and 5.0 assists. He was named to the All-NBA Second Team for his impressive play. In his 16 years with the league, he made the All-NBA squad 11 times.

The Minnesota Timberwolves ended Phoenix’s season with a sweep of the first round. Currently, the Dallas Mavericks are 0-1 in the NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics, and Holmgren’s Thunder fell in six games in the second round.
