Inside Patrick and Brittany Mahomes’ palatial $5.5M Kansas City estate with its 7,800-square-foot private golf course, soccer field, and more

An eight-acre plot of land purchased for $400,000 by Patrick and Brittany Mahomes was turned into an opulent mansion fit for a king, or more precisely, the king of Kansas City.

Patrick agreed to a $450 million, ten-year contract with the Kansas City Chiefs in August of 2020. He used some of the money he made the next month to buy the land.

In an episode of “Quarterback” on Netflix, the NFL player stated, “When I signed my contract here in Kansas City, I actually decided to get the land, to get ready to build that right.” I was certain that I wanted to remain in this position, so I decided to sign a ten-year extension.

Consequently, at the moment that I did it, I thought to myself, “Since I’m going to be here, I might as well construct the house that I want.”

A state-of-the-art home gym, an indoor basketball court, a giant fish tank, a movie theater, and, of course, a trophy case are some of the amenities that can be found in the home, which was completed in February 2023.

The sleek and modern kitchen that they have is outfitted with black cabinetry, a marbled island that is white and gray in color, chrome hardware, and matching state-of-the-art appliances.

In spite of the fact that the precise square footage of the home is unknown, aerial photographs of the estate suggest that it is spacious enough to accommodate their family of four as well as a large number of guests, including their best friends Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

To be sure, that is only the interior. An enormous pool and hot tub, a private pond, a par-3 golf course, and a football field measuring fifty yards in length were also erected by the couple. The football field contains the Mahomes’ logo in the middle of the field, and their last name is spelled out in the end zone.

During the documentary series, Brittany expressed her excitement by saying, “Finally, we are going to have a home that we built and has everything that we could have ever dreamed of having.”

The couple, who started dating while still in high school, gave fans a peek at the estate while it was still under construction on the show. Since then, though, they have resisted disclosing the ostentatious house online.

It’s crucial to remember that they possess other stunning properties in addition to their enormous estate in Cass County.

Patrick and Brittany, both 28 years old, have accumulated a sizeable real estate portfolio over the course of their lives. They have, however, recently sold several of the assets in their portfolio, including their first Kansas City condo, which they fetched about $550,000 for.

The parents with two children paid $1.8 million for a property with three bedrooms, four bathrooms, and other features in January 2019. The mansion was reportedly renovated for $400,000, according to reports.

The “contemporary ranch,” which occupied more than 4,300 square feet overall, had a chef’s kitchen, a wine room with 500 bottles, a home gym, a unique “shoe room,” a pool and hot tub, and an outdoor putting green. The couple came to the realization that their current home was the perfect spot for them to settle down while they were waiting for it to be built. Patrick and Brittany listed the house for sale during the summer, and a month ago, it sold for little less than $3 million.

The pair additionally spent $3.37 million in March 2020 for a mansion in their home state of Texas that has four bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and four bedrooms. Before their ideal home was finished earlier this year, Patrick and Brittany would often spend the off-season at the 7,800-square-foot estate known as the “entertainer’s dream.”

Like Patrick’s other homes, this contemporary property features soaring ceilings, a floating staircase, a wine room, a wet bar, and a gaming room. It also has convenient access to a golf course.

Although it’s unclear at this point if the NFL player plans to sell the luxury listing, it’s estimated that it’s currently worth more than $5.5 million.
