Real Madrid is ready to compete with Liverpool for transfer targets because Liverpool has a clear goal of upgrading their defense throughout the summer. This puts Liverpool ready to fight with Real Madrid.

According to sources from the trade website Fichajes, Liverpool coach Arne Slot is concentrating on making a deal to get Antonio Silva while the summer is still in progress. Both Liverpool and Real Madrid are now interested in acquiring the young Portuguese defender. Both teams are aiming to bolster their defenses in preparation for the upcoming season, and both clubs are interested in acquiring him.

Even though he is only twenty years old, Antonio Silva has had a phenomenal ascent in his profession. Following his graduation from the youth program of Benfica, he has established himself as a mainstay in both the club and the Portuguese national team. As a result of his nearly one hundred games for Benfica, his talent is indisputable and has garnered interest from the most prestigious teams in Europe.

After the departure of Joel Matip and the uncertainty around Ibrahima Konate’s performance, Liverpool is specifically seeking for a replacement midfielder to fill the void left by Matip. The Red Devils are actively considering Antonio Silva as a potential player to incorporate into their roster. The expensive price of almost one hundred million pounds for him, on the other hand, raises worries about the probability of that transfer taking place.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, has previously showed interest in Antonio Silva; however, they did not like to invest such a significant amount of money on a young player with such a promising future. It is possible that the winner of the Champions League in 2023–24 may look for less expensive solutions to strengthen his defense in order to accommodate other prospective targets.
