Fenerbahce manager Jose Mourinho has spoken about the player he wanted to sign but couldn’t.

Mourinho, answering quick questions on TNT Sports, admitted that he would love to sign Lionel Messi. But he believes that this “boy” is untrainable because he is the best in the current generation.

Mourinho said: “A player I never signed but wish I had? Of course, in my generation I would say the little guy [Messi]. ”

Mourinho has worked with many great players.

Messi is considered the best player in world football history with 8 Golden Balls to his name. He reached the peak of his career at the end of 2022 when he played excellently to bring the Argentina team to the world championship.

Messi also won the Copa America after many missed attempts. This summer, he could participate in his last major tournament with the national team.
