Reese scored 20 points in Chicago Sky's narrow loss to Connecticut Sun on Wednesday night

In Wednesday night’s close loss to Connecticut Sun for Chicago Sky, Reese scored 20 points.

After that, Reese will play her college nemesis Caitlin Clark in a much awaited WNBA matchup between Chicago Sky and Iowa on Sunday.

Chennedy Carter of Sky became the talk of the town when she bodychecked Clark off the ball in their first match, despite the fact that the two teams were fierce rivals in college.

Reese, watching from the sidelines, leaped up from her seat to applaud the action as Carter seemed to exclaim, “You b****.”

Both Clark and Reese contributed to a surge in interest in the WNBA as a result of the incident, which sparked intense debate among fans.

This week, Reese also made headlines when she said she expected WNBA practice to be more difficult than it has been thus far.

Reese told CBS Sports HQ, “Kim Mulkey (LSU coach) kind of prepared me for this moment.” We practiced for around four hours at LSU. We were prepared and in motion.

“I assumed the training would be more difficult.” I believe that I was well-prepared. As of now, I had no WNBA surprises.

On Thursday, Reese also tweeted about it in response to a fan who questioned whether LSU practiced for four hours a day.

She stated, “Not every day, but September through November used to have me deaddd.” But now that I see myself, I suppose it was all worthwhile.
