The Aces-Liberty Game Was Attended By LeBron James, Savannah James, Rich Paul, Damian Lillard, And Bam Adebayo

On Saturday, the New York Liberty and the Las Vegas Aces rematched in the WNBA Finals from 2023, and a slew of famous faces showed up for the epic showdown. Bam Adebayo, Rich Paul, Savannah James, LeBron James, and Damian Lillard were all seated together courtside. In the past month or two, LeBron, Savannah, and Paul have made it to two high-profile games. They showed up on May 13 for the fourth game of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, which pitted the Boston Celtics against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Last year, LeBron was also in attendance for Game 1 of the Finals between these two clubs. The 39-year-old is very close with A’ja Wilson, who was a key player in the Aces’ 3-1 series victory over the Liberty and WNBA champions for the second year in a row. However, in this rematch, the roles were reversed.

The victory over the Aces brought the Liberty’s win streak to eight games and their season record to 12-2. Both Jonquel Jones and her teammates were congratulated by LeBron after the game, as Jones led the squad with 34 points.

Defending champions the Liberty aren’t having the same kind of success as they have had recently. The Aces fell to 6-6 in 2024 after suffering their fifth loss in their previous seven games. It has been an extremely difficult start to the 2023 regular season, considering they had only lost six games previously. Still, you’d support them so they can steady the ship.

It was expected to see Lillard and Adebayo here together because they are good friends and have been quite supportive of the WNBA throughout the years. They should be teammates by now if the Miami Heat could have traded for Damian Lillard last season, but alas, it was not to be.

On Going To The Game With Savannah, LeBron James James LeBron celebrated his wife during the Aces-Liberty game by posting a photo to Instagram. He posted a photo of the two of them on screen, complete with an imaginative crown, and wrote a beautiful message to describe the event.

Put her on top! Oh my gosh.In a subsequent story, LeBron referred to Savannah as one of his closest pals.

“Smiling/laughing with your best friends goes a long fkn way!!”p
