Indian artist Rajiv Anchal has finally opened the doors of his one-of-a-kind landmark after a decade of labor.

Jatayu Earth’s Center is the source of the image.

Jatayu Earth Centre, situated close to Kerala, quickly rose to the ranks of the top tourist attractions in India.

It is a tribute to the Hindu epic Ramayana that the sculpture is made.

An enormous eagle named Ramayana fell while battling Ravana in order to rescue the Hindu heroine Sita, according to the Sanskrit epic Ramayana. Everyone in Chadayamangalam village, which is in the Kollam region of Kerala, has heard the tale for a long time, and now it has been brilliantly brought to life again.

At present, there is no larger sculpture of a bird than this one.

Props to Team Jatayu for the image.

Built atop the 1,000-foot-tall Jatayupara towers, the artwork measures 200 feet in length from tail to head, proving that it is, in fact, the largest sculpture of a bird in the world.

Props to Team Jatayu for the image.

Filmmaker Rajiv Anchal, who created the artwork, claims to have had the concept for more than a decade. In the 1980s, while I was a student at the Fine Arts College, I showed the Department of Tourism a model of this sculpture. Despite their admiration, it failed to materialize during that time.

The sculptor emphasizes the significance of preserving the monument’s cultural value while avoiding any religious overtones. He asserts that the sculpture represents Jatayu’s sacrifice in defending a woman’s honor. The project’s backers and attendees represent a wide range of religious backgrounds. All of them are my target audience. Those in search of spiritual solace can find the ancient temple located just outside the grounds.
