In exchange for Devin Booker, the Lakers will not send LeBron James to the Suns

On his podcast ‘Buha’s Block,’ Jovan Buha turned down the Lakers’ offer to trade LeBron James to the Suns for Devin Booker. Such a move, according to Buha, would be bad for both teams.

You won’t see the Lakers trading for him. Neither Phoenix nor Devin Booker would be interested in trading for LeBron James, so he won’t be moving there. Devin Booker is a key player for the team, an up-and-coming All-Star, and an NBA All-Defensive Team member.

Lakers Will Not Trade LeBron James To Suns For Devin Booker

I would rank this guy in the top fifteen, and I’ve put him in the top ten or twelve at different times. Why give up Booker for a few years of LeBron when you could have him for the next seven or ten?

The Suns do not see selling their franchise cornerstone, Devin Booker, for a young All-Star who has All-NBA potential, as a logical move. At his peak, Booker is one of the league’s top ten or fifteen players, and he is an investment for Phoenix’s future that might see him at the helm for the next seven or ten years.

In spite of LeBron James’ legendary status and current high-level play, trading him for him would be giving up years of future potential in exchange for a couple more seasons of greatness. The Suns are trying to assemble a championship-caliber roster with Booker, Durant, and Bradley Beal, so this deal doesn’t sit well with them.

DEVIN BOOKER Traded To The LAKERS??

With a field goal percentage of 49.2% and a three-point percentage of 36.4%, Booker had an outstanding season, averaging 27.1 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 6.9 assists per game. Being recognized as an All-Star and selected to the All-NBA third team speaks volumes about his impact on the Suns and his standing as a top player in the league.

The Lakers alsо find trading LeBrоn James tо be an unattractive prоspect. LeBrоn James is still gоing strоng at the age оf 39, which is his 21st seasоn in the NBA. Amazingly, he shоt 54.0% frоm the field and 41.0% frоm three-pоint range fоr the seasоn, averaging 25.7 pоints, 7.3 rebоunds, and 8.3 assists per game.

Furthermоre, LeBrоn’s impаct extenԀs fаr beyоnԀ his аccоmplishments оn the cоurt. When it cоmes tо enԀоrsements, meԀiа аttentiоn, аnԀ аԀmirers, he is still very much in ԀemаnԀ. The teаm’s perfоrmаnce, mаrketаbility, аnԀ finаnciаl Ԁynаmics wоulԀ аll tаke а hit if they trаԀeԀ him.

This was a difficult season for both squads. Despite having a quality roster that included Booker, Durant, and Beal, the Suns only managed to finish 49–33, which was good enough for sixth place in the West. Head coach Frank Vogel was fired and the team was swept in the first round of the playoffs by the Minnesota Timberwolves due to coaching and roster irregularities. Vogel has subsequently been replaced by Mike Budenholzer, a former coach of the Bucks.

The Lakers also had a rough season, going 47–35 and ending seventh in the Western Conference. They, too, had problems with injuries and coaching, and they were eliminated from the playoffs in the first round by the Denver Nuggets in five games. As a result, head coach Darvin Ham was let go, and the Lakers are now looking for his successor, with JJ Redick posing as a leading candidate.

Trading Devin Booker for LeBron James is quite improbable. There is a lot to think about when constructing rosters for the future, but neither club appears to be planning to trade away their key players.
