Despite not being utilized as a substitute in Wednesday night’s international match, a Chelsea player helped his team win the opening match of the championship.

Of course, I’m referring to Enzo Fernandez, a midfielder for Chelsea who is presently representing Argentina at the Copa America.In their first match of the competition, they defeated Canada 2-0, however Enzo Fernandez was forced to start the entire match on the bench.

Fernandez would undoubtedly lag a bit in terms of match fitness because he had surgery and was unable to play for Chelsea at the end of the season.

Chelsea supporters, at least I am, should be happy that the national team is taking it slow when it comes to Enzo’s return from surgery.

 

 

Additionally, I have no doubt that he will have many of opportunities to play this summer in Copa America!

Chelsea has two tasks and isn’t given up on the Samu Omorodion deal

Samu Omorodion, a young striker with promise for Atletico Madrid, has been strongly linked to Chelsea in recent days. It is said that three bids for Omorodion have been rejected. But they’re not finished yet.

The Italian transfer insider continues, stating that Los Rojiblancos have turned down every approach and proposal to date.Chelsea, however, is not given up on Omorodion and will return with new strategies. But because Omorodion is eager to stay at Atletico, their mission is made twice as challenging. Prior to any agreement being reached, Chelsea will also need to persuade him of his desire to begin the preseason with Los Rojiblancos.

It is understandable that Omorodion is not seizing the chance, given the difficulties that young strikers have encountered at Chelsea lately. Since this was his first La Liga season and he did not start every game for Alaves, it appears that a move to Chelsea might also be a bit premature.
