After winning Banner 18, the Celtics celebrated with a procession through Boston that might have rivaled any NBA championship celebration.
The Larry O’Brien Trophy, which Jayson Tatum proudly carried throughout the parade route, has remained in his possession ever since the Celtics’ 2024 NBA Finals victory in Game 5.
Like the trophy in this photo from Friday’s parade on X (previously Twitter), the Celtics shone as they capped off a championship season.

The 16-3 postseason record which the Celtics achieved culminated in a series victory over the Western Conference winning Dallas Mavericks, allowing them to win their record-18th championship. Throughout the whole regular season, Boston was unstoppable, and the Bruins finished with the best record in the league, a 64-18 record.
