Darwin Nunez, a forward for Liverpool, scored late in Uruguay’s opening 3-1 victory over Panama, setting them up for early success at the Copa America.

After the break, Panama tried their hardest to get an equalizer, but with less than six minutes left, Nunez pounced on a stray ball in the box and volleyed home to make it 2-0.
