According to reports, Chelsea has finalized the £5 million acquisition of Marc Guiu, a young player from Barcelona.
As previously reported by Mail Sport, Enzo Maresca’s team have been keeping an eye on Guiu, with the Blues up against competition from teams like Bayern Munich to sign the forward.

According to reports, Guiu has committed to a six-year contract with the West London club, which will expire on June 30.The Spaniard will join Chelsea as their second summer acquisition following the free agent signing of Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham.
Guiu, who attended Barcelona’s renowned La Masia academy, had a great season in his debut with the Catalan team last year.Guiu made his senior debut the following week against Athletic Bilbao, coming off the bench in the last moments of the match after being selected on the bench against Granada in October.
Just 33 seconds after being introduced, Guiu scored the game’s winning goal with just his second touch of the ball, beating goalkeeper Unai Simon with a low shot while the score remained tied at 0-0.
Guiu became the youngest player to score for Barcelona in his La Liga debut this century at the age of 17 years and 291 days.
Guiu went on to make eight appearances for Barcelona’s first team in all competitions the previous season, scoring in a December Champions League group stage loss to Royal Antwerp.
