Concerning the future of coaching, Chris PaulChris Paul has been considered for the position of NBA head coach for some time now, thanks to his legendary leadership during his 19 years in the league. On multiple occasions, he has been selected as the active player by the league’s general managers as the one most likely to “make the best head coach someday” in their annual survey.

In spite оf this, Pаul shоt the ideа dоwn during аn аppeаrаnce оn “The Shоp” lаst yeаr, sаying thаt he wаnted tо stаy put аfter retirement.

“No. “To be honest, I’m not keen on traveling in that manner,” Paul admitted.Paul elaborated by saying that it would be extremely challenging to coach NBA players since they are so stubborn. He said that the AAU level is his favorite to coach since the younger guys listen to him more.

“That’s why I love AAU, ’cause you get a chance to actually mold kids at an early age,” he added. Because when we’re playing in the NBA, we’re not going to pay attention to any of that nonsense. We feel like we know everything, so I can’t imagine coaching us until we reach the NBA.On Sunday, Paul allegedly reached an agreement with San Antonio for a one-year deal worth more than $11 million. Most people think he’ll be an important senior leader for the young team next year. Players like Stephon Castle, the fourth overall choice this year, and up-and-coming big man Victor Wembanyama will likely be under the guidance of the seasoned playmaker.

Paul has already indicated that, whenever he retires from the NBA, he plans to devote more time to developing guys who were already on the team before they joined.
