Following his transfer to Stamford Bridge, Tosin Adarabioyo documented his first week of training on social media.
The Blues were eager to strengthen their defensive ranks, so they signed Adarabioyo, a defensive midfielder, from Fulham, their neighbours, for free in the summer.
The 26-year-old has 132 matches under his belt and is familiar with Enzo Maresca from his time with Manchester City. He also played for Fulham.
In the wake of Thiago Silva’s departure, Chelsea are in need of a player with his leadership abilities, Premier League experience, and height to bolster their defense.
Adarabioyo and the rest of Chelsea’s players got back to pre-season training at the club’s Cobham base a week early.Even though preseason training isn’t officially set to begin until Monday, rumors have it that Ben Chilwell and Trevoh Chaobah have returned early. The Blues will be touring the United States later this month.
It is encouraging to see that Adarabioyo is adjusting well to his new club life; he has posted a number of photos to social media chronicling his first week there.
