The first glimpse of Team USA’s Olympic uniforms was given to fans by Steph Curry and LeBron James.

The stars of the Los Angeles Lakers and the Golden State Warriors posed while wearing the American flag and the official colors of the upcoming Paris Olympics later this month.James, who is tied for the most Olympic medals ever won by an NBA player, will be competing in his fourth Olympics this summer. His Olympic debut was in 2004 in Athens, where Team USA finished in third place; in 2008, he captained the “Redeem Team” that won gold in Beijing. He last competed for Team USA in the 2012 London Olympics, where his country also took home the gold medal.

James, who sat out the previous two Olympics, returns this year with a star-studded lineup and an appetite for gold.

The United States national basketball team, coached by Steve Kerr, features both seasoned players like James and Curry and younger sensations like Anthony Edwards and Tyreke Haliburton, as well as veterans like Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard.

There will be a lot of pressure on this year’s U.S. team because it has some of the NBA’s best stars.

 

 

 

On July 28, Team USA will take on a Serbian squad coached by Nikola Jokić, starting their pursuit of gold.
