Report Claims That Napoli Will Be Able to Acquire Chelsea’s Veteran Striker If PSG Makes a Move

Paris Saint-Germain has been connected to Napoli star Victor Osimhen over the past many months. But now that the transfer window is opened, rumors have returned about the Osimhen connection.

The Nigerian international has 76 goals in 133 games since joining Napoli from LOSC Lille of Ligue 1, with 65 of those goals coming in Serie A. The 2022–23 league title run by Napoli was also heavily influenced by Osimhen.

Romelu Lukaku of Chelsea is still a target for Napoli’s new coach, who wants to bring him to the Stadio Maradona. But first, the squad must locate a new club to sign Osimhen to.

Although Al-Ahli is reportedly interested in Saudi Arabia, Osimhen is most likely to join PSG in Europe, according to Corriere dello Sport (h/t Football Italia).

After Kylian Mbappe’s departure to Real Madrid, PSG has yet to find a suitable replacement. Club president Aurelio De Laurentiis had second thoughts about bringing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli.

If Corriere dello Sport is to be believed, PSG may decide to start talks with Napoli again regarding Osimhen. Conte may be able to get a deal for Lukaku if this trade goes through.
