Although Chelsea showed interest in Borussia Dortmund winger Karim Adeyemi, he only wants Champions League football should he be leaving the Bundesliga team.

Chelsea needs another flexible forward in addition to a striker, and Adeyemi has been under discussion but the German national is thought to be unresponsive to a trip to Stamford Bridge.

 

One of his club’s standout players in their Champions League final loss against Real Madrid at Wembley last month, the 22-year-old wants to carry up where he left off should he be sold this summer.Dortmund, who want Lyon’s Rayan Cherki and Brighton’s Pascal Gross and are signing Serhou Guirassy from Stuttgart, are willing to sell Adeyemi for roughly £35million.

 

 

That has alerted teams all throughout Europe, including several in England, but Adeyemi is intent exclusively on playing for a side vying for the best club championship.New Chelsea recruit Tosin Adarabioyo has also delighted staff with his early pre-season training under new manager Enzo Maresca.
